What happens when you take the Marine Corps, Six kids, dogs, grandkids, one Marine (retired as of a second ago) and me and mix them all together? Nothing less than KRAZY!

Out of the mouth's of Recruits
Walking out of the gym the other morning with Recruits 5 and 6.
Recruit 5: Mom, when you're dressed more appropriately could we go to Wal-Mart?
Mom: Um... (looking down at my gym clothes) Well, yeah, sure I guess...
Love what he said! Yesterday we were at the Department of Social Services in New Bern getting Kamile's work permit signed and a reporter was there and he wanted to interview people about the 'safe surrender laws' well... yea, no... I had dropped lunch on my shirt and there was NO WAY I was going on TV with a big ol' stain right in the middle of my chest!! I felt bad enough going into Social Services that way... at least Kamile was dressed decently! He laughed when I told him why I would do it! I also considered turning around and asking him if I could surrender Kamile to him ;) JUST KIDDING!! (now Kalee..... LOL!!!!!)
